Ryan Reed will be in Boston to open his show at Wentworth
(http://www.wit.edu/WITnews/2009/other/2009-09-15-sudan.asp) during
the same week NESoP begins. He will be coming to the first class day
of Documentary class on October 8 to show his work on Darfur and talk
about working a long term project under worse-than-impossible
conditions. Its a good take for PJ and Documentary
photographers...you will NOT want to miss this opportunity. Class
will begin at 9 and Ryan will probably begin at 10. Though this is
technically a class day we will try to accomodate seating for
everyone.

His work is now traveling as part of an exhibit and book
(DARFUR/DARFUR) and hangs along with Nachtwey, Pellegrin, Haviv and so
on. Check it out here:

To Begin

The intention of this blog is broad and meant to hold as much as needed and then more.  It is a place to find useful announcements, technical notes, administrative detail, schedule changes and the occasional expression of free speech.  Its also intended to serve as a resource to you as you make your way through the 30 weeks of the NESoP Documentary major (or 20 week minor).  It is also freely open to any and all who might find something of interest here.

And there is always so much more.
